Discuss Eight is Enough on Facebook (Jan 27, 2012)
As some of the readers have known, I ran a message forum for EiE since about 1998, but I decided to close it down last year due
to declining forum participants and, yes, competetion from newer services like facebook, which has far more members and can much more easily
join a group with less effort. I've been maintaining an EiE site since 1997 and after 15 years on the web, I was thinking about
retiring from administrating a group anyway.
Facebook has an Eight is Enough on Facebook Group
with some where around 200 members.
Also see the Dick Van Patten Appreciation Society, which seems
to have no administrators left in the group.
Hannah Gruen and others have started up several groups dedicated to the stars of EiE on Facebook.
